Screen printed on raw-edged black heavyweight cotton fabric and measures roughly 11 x 7 inches (sizes vary slightly) and looks great as a back patch, an altar item, or anywhere else.
This gorgeous back patch was made from the 17th century London woodcut found in Elias Ashmole's Theatrum Chemicum Britannicum, detailing the alchemical symbol of transmutation of base metal (Earth at bottom) into Gold (the Sun) and Silver (the Moon) through the agency of the dragon (Mercury - volatility).
Note: patches do not have iron-on backings.
